Bass Expression TV documents the underground rave scene in Europe—a world defined by raw energy, secrecy, and a close-knit community. The goal for this opener was to capture the unpolished, authentic atmosphere of these events and set the tone for the channel’s documentary content.

The concept drew on the realities of the scene: industrial spaces, dim lighting, and the sense of being part of something hidden and exclusive.
I focused on a stripped-back visual style—minimal graphics, gritty textures, and restrained color palettes—to reflect the honest, unfiltered spirit of the raves.
The animation’s rhythm mirrors the tension and anticipation of entering a secret party, emphasizing the feeling of belonging to a small, dedicated group.
Every element was designed to evoke the DIY ethos and underground character of the community, rather than commercial polish or spectacle.
